The second OES Community Meeting will take place on 21 and 22 March 2024. The OES Community Meeting serves as a platform for co-learning and exchange between editors, editorial teams and developers of the various publication projects that rely on the Open Encyclopedia System for the realisation of quality-assured online publications in Open Access. During the two-day meeting, the participants will present current developments and challenges of their publication projects and discuss conceptual, editorial and functional features of the "Living Handbook" publication format. The workshop also serves as a practical introduction to the installation and editorial work with the OES as well as a discussion of existing and planned OES features.

The 2nd OES Community Meeting is jointly organised by the Center for Digital Systems (CeDiS/UB) and the Research Area 5 "Building Digital Communities" (EXC 2020) of Freie Universität Berlin. Participation in the meeting is by personal invitation.
