A new version of the Open Encyclopedia System, OES 2.2, is now available at https://github.com/open-encyclopedia-system/oes-core. OES 2.2 presents several new features: Enhanced and improved configuration via the admin panel, enhanced multilingual feature, enhanced filter facet search, improved generic OES WordPress Theme and many more features.

A new OES module plugin is available to enhance the OES features even more: the OES Timeline module. The module provides a display of chronological sequences of events. The plugin is available at https://github.com/open-encyclopedia-system/oes-timeline.
